Many High Cultures, such as Egypt, Inkas, Mayas, European Pagan Traditions& many atraditions have died out or r just known to a minimum. Mostly it happened tgroufhmmgh Christian or Muslim invasion, sometimes through climate changes or rude kings /rulers, & other reasons.
In India, however, a 10.000year, and even older tradition has survived!! You will find temples established 2000years ago, 5000years ago (Jagannath Temple in Puri, & others), and some even older than this (Kailash Temple in Karnataka, Temples of Jains, & more).
Many Temples are runned 1000nds of years, or many also the past 300-500years, DAILY!!! -Every day, at least one or more temple priests are performing the daily worship (offer flowers, fruits, veg etarian food, lights, insence and more). Many temples r runned by a family line. And all have power& you can feel that!!
Traveling trough India can give you a glance at tentausends old and also contemporary culture & traditions!! Every tien or village, or area is different. And sometimes every temple or worship sides / pilgrimage sides are unique & lovely.
